Himmelbjerget, which translates to "The Sky Mountain" or "The Mountain of Heaven," is despite its modest height of just 147 meters, among the highest natural points in Denmark, a relatively flat country. Himmelbjerget is located in the Lake District near the town of Silkeborg and offers beautiful panoramic views of lakes and forests, which are rare in Denmark. You can go there by car but you can also take the world's oldest coal paddle steamer still in use called "Hjejlen" from either Silkeborg or Ry (Emilie's home town).
