Before we say “I do,” we would love to kick off the celebrations with a special pre-wedding gathering. Please join us for an evening of fun, laughter, friendly competition and Danish hospitality as we welcome our friends and family to the country.
No need to be a pro, just bring your best swing and your best vibes! Food and drinks will be available, and of course, there will be plenty of chances to show off your putting skills (or just cheer from the sidelines!).
We’ll be celebrating with traditional Danish snacks and drinks as we prepare for the big day. This will be a wonderful opportunity for everyone to meet, mingle, and soak in the charming atmosphere of Denmark.
Afterwards, we’ll take a walk on Saksild beach, where you’re welcome to dip your toes, or take a full swim, if you’re up for it! So, if you’re feeling adventurous, bring your swimsuit and a towel!

Sankt Hans, also known as Midsummer's Eve, is a Danish tradition celebrated on June 23rd. It marks the summer solstice, the longest day of the year, with festivities that include bonfires, singing, and social gatherings. That is therefore the theme of the wedding and what we want to celebrate with you. The bonfire traditionally symbolizes the burning away of evil spirits, a custom rooted in ancient folklore. Sankt Hans is a cherished celebration of light, warmth, and community in Denmark.
