Brandbygegaard is a farm run as a regenerative business with a focus on biodiversity and natural development combined with high profile organic niche production.
The farm produces cider, sparkling grape and apple wine, gin, brandy, whisky, etc. It also brews beer, presses cider, boils juice, etc. In addition to crops for the winery, a variety of herbs and vegetables are grown for the kitchen.
Most of the raw materials come from the farm's own land and are grown, harvested and processed by Lone and Søren. The limited yield ensures that there will always be craftsmanship with care and love for the raw material as well as for the finished bottle. Fruit and grapes are grown with great respect for the land and for the people who will enjoy the products. Care from the soil to the glass.
The cultivation of fruit, berries, vegetables, etc. is done without the use of artificial fertilizers, pesticides or other forms of man-made chemicals, and is therefore above the level required by organic regulations, where, for example, sulphur may be sprayed in vineyards and apple orchards.
